My wife's periods getting late for more than a week. And tested negative in pregnancy last day. Suggest what should we do?

Sometimes periods do get delayed beyond the normal schedule. You may repeat the UPT after a couple of days to assure yourself.
Next Steps
consult with an obstetrician. Rule out any Medical causes which might lead to delay in periods. eg Thyroid disorder.
