Hi, We had unprotected sex 22 days ago (while she was ovulating) so she took i-pill for safety but now she Missed her periods for 6 days and took a prega news test 3 times all came +ve. We cannot have a child now, so abortion we chose. What methods DNC/Medicinal is better (100% sure to work?) Least side effects What is best option medicinal or surgical? How long does the effects of it(both) last, means if she had a abortion today how long it will she will be alright ? If we opt medicinal and go gynaecologist how much will it cost and time required totally? Thanks already for your valuable reply!

Hello, Ipills don't protect you from pregnancy all the time ,so its wise to use daily oral contraceptives pills , don't worry about complication. Earlier the abortion ,lesser the complication . Doctor will give medicines for abortion ,only if product of conceptus is not completely expelled ,they go for DNC , minor bleeding will be there , person will get back to normal in a week or two . Consult gynaecologist for price and other information.

Hello,, some details need to be asked before the advice,,, about her marital status and her health conditions now,, both medical and surgical have same rate of side effects,, medical is not 100%sure though, cost vary widely depending on the clinic, doesn't take much time to recover, may be less then a week, if procedure is smooth, please consult gynecologist.
