Thyroid and high cholesterol levels

Hi there ,I am 52 years female .i ve  lower back pain from last 2 years ,my total cholesterol is 273 ,ldl is 204 and non hdl is 173,and my t3 t4 levels are normal but tsh is 5.36,I ve taken medication for thyroid and cholesterol for 6 months and I stopped them for some side effects, it's over a year now and recently my back pain is increasing and I want you to suggest a remedy for my problems and yeah I don't have bp or sugar thanks
