Pain could be a possible reason for cavity or just a food compaction in that area. Kindly get it examined by a dentist.

Hi ! Two reasons why you may be having space one there may be a cavity two you might be having a gum infection and space. In either case food gets lodged and gives you pain. So please visit your dentist and get the needed correction done. If the pain is unbearable you can take a painkiller and see your dentist immediately.
