Androgenic alopecia
I'm on minoxidil 10 and androanagen tablets from 5 months and it has worked very well for me, but from the last month, it has almost stopped working and now hairfall has resumed? I have been prescribed minoxidil 5 + finasteride 1 mg dose now, is it fine?

Good morning. The medication and dosage you have mentioned is commonly prescribed for diagnosed cases of Androgenetic Alopecia. It is fine. If you have any concerns regarding the prescribed medication, I sincerely request you to have a chat with your treating doctor as there is a lot of misinformation and scare inducing / paranoid internet articles when it comes to finasteride. I use it myself and prescribe it to my patients after proper counselling.
