I seem to be struggling with anger issues after my divorce last year and I find myself permanently angry and irritated and lost how can I overcome this

Hello Friend, Good that you are seeking a help here. Anger is an expression of stress. As body and mind are interlinked, anger is not just an emotional outburst, but also can be caused by bodily discomfort like excess heat in the body, acidity, blood pressure, PMS etc or due to dietary, daily routines, lifestyle disorders etc. As you are getting into anger permanently,  the solution approach need to be a holistic approach considering both body and mind balancing rather just focusing on anger management.

Breaking up from a significant someone can be traumatic. No girl wants this for her life. We understand that things wouldn’t have been under control for a relation to break, but it anyhow leaves a wound on heart. Best is to consult a therapist to help you deal with such situation and help you grow stronger in life. You might also consult a psychiatrist if there are any other signs of depression like sad mood, disinterest in working, death wishes, sleep disturbances, difficulty with routine life, feelings of hopelessness, helplessness etc.
