Hi Emotional swings are a very common occurrence in many people. Depending on the situation, one's mood gets happy, depresses or irritable.  But as your emotional swings are persistent and also associated with preferring solitude, feeling lonely and reduced concentration, these may be the symptoms of a psychiatric problem.  A timely detailed consultation with a psychiatrist will definitely help you.  Your condition may be treated with counselling and/ or medicines depending upon the severity and your preference. Regards.
