Anti rabies vaccine
Hi Sir / mam, Today a stray dog came near me I was on Scooty , I don't know whether it touched me or not but it came so near me , after a while I checked my legs there is skin peeled on my leg , I don't know whether I got a cut from a dog or previous cut , I got 4 vaccine in May 2024 and again 2 booster doses on Oct 27 . Do I have to take vaccine again please help. I have attached a pic, Thank you

Given your vaccination history (full PEP in May 2024 and boosters in October 2024), you are likely well-protected. If thereâs no confirmed dog bite, scratch, or saliva contact on broken skin, no additional vaccine is required. Keep the wound clean and monitor the dog for abnormal behavior over 10 days, if possible. However, if thereâs any doubt about exposure, a single booster dose can be taken as a precaution. Thoroughly wash the wound with soap and water and apply an antiseptic.
