See, the medications will be a support mechanism initially till you understand the cognition behind your personal set of stress and worry about the root cause. Medications can be gradually tapered and stopped once you gain confidence on rowing yourself without any support.

Hi... Stress can lead to anxiety and depression which can be treated with medicines and therapy. You need to take these medicines under the supervision of a psychiatrist.self medication is not advisable.

First thing you should take anti-stress medicine only after consulting psychiatrist not physiologist. Second along with anti-stress medicine psychiatrist provide stress management techniques, which will help you after you stop medication. This stress technique won’t take your root causes of stress out of your life but it will help you how you should deal with it. We can’t change others but we can change ourselves and how we respond to stress.
