Antidepressant effect on fertility
I have been trying for a second child since 2 years but is unsuccessful. I am on antidepressants (venalafixine 75 mg),alprazolam(0.25 mg) currently. My prolaclin and tsh levels are bit high. Does antidepressants causing a problem to conceive naturally?

Well in my knowledge antidepressant venlafaxine affects libido in some patients but does not causes infertility . Regarding infertility please consult a ganaecologist . Raised TSH and prolactin can be the cause which needs further evaluation as whether raised levels are  due to venlafaxine or some other cause which is causing infertility as well
