Mucoid discharge can be of various causes. Like piles fissure or fistula etc or some other Possible causes. How are the motions hard loose or soft ? What is the colour of stools ? Any other digestive symptoms. ? Any other medical history ?
Was any surgery or treatment done for any ano-rectal disease in past ?

high fibre diet salads green vegetables fruits etc. plenty of fluids. watch if loose motions are there. it has to be treated accordingly.
