The current combination of amitriptyline, propranolol, and flunarizine being used for the management of anxiety does not appear to be yielding adequate relief and hence the residual symptoms are persistent.
Based on clinical guidelines and best practices, this regimen isn’t an optimal approach for treating anxiety disorders.
A detailed reassessment of your history, including the duration and severity of symptoms, comorbid conditions, and previous treatment responses, is essential. Following this evaluation, a modification in the treatment plan is strongly recommended to align with evidence-based practices for anxiety management and other comorbid condition if any.
Next Steps
Consult a psychiatrist for complete resolution of the symptoms.
