Are the medicines safe for nondiabetic?
I dont have diabetes. Im obese for my age. Fasting insulin 4.40, HbA1c 5.8. Weight was 123kgs on 25th sept 2017. Doctor has given me Victoza injection 0.6mg. Jardiance 25mg-1 everyday. Glycomet sr 500- 2 everyday and tab Lessofu-2 each day. He said it will help me in reducing my weight. It did reduce my weight to 119kg in 7 days(3kgs in a week). My sugar level is always between 80-100 even after having sweets or junk food before starting these medicines. -Is it safe to take these medicines even when I dont have diabetes?. -Will these meds cause any harmful side effects?. Today, doc has asked me to increase Victoza to 1.2mg. Confused whether to take these drugs which are clearly meant for Type 2 diabetes patients. Is Lessofu is a fat cutter? Please present your kind advice. Thank you
