Ashwangandha with thyroid medicine
Can I take ashwagandha 500mg for few weeks/months along with my hypothyroid medication (thyrox75) I have been taking thyroid meds for 9years now and want to take ashwagandha to manage chronic anxiety stress . My TSH report done latest is normal and within range . Just want to know if it's safe to take ashwagandha along with thyroid meds.

Ashwagandha is helpful in hypothyroidism. So it will help to reduce your thyrox dosage. So u can take ashwagandha with thyroid medication and also keep monitoring your thyroid levels. Like after a month of usage check your TSH levels along with T3 T4 so that u may need to reduce the thyrox dosage.
