Baby canine tooth.
Dear Doctor, I am 32 years old, and i have a baby canine tooth which was not fell down during my childhood, now at this age it is wiggling. I took the x-ray and there is a permanent canine tooth behind it and it not visible outside. I have few questions as follows and please answer : 1. What are all the risks involved to expose the impacted canine in the age of 32 years?. If i leave the tooth without exposing it with surgery , does it effect other tooth? 2. What is the average or approximate cost of treatment (please answer this question). 3. Currently i am residing in a town. If you suggesting to go for a surgery to expose canine teeth, Do you recommend me to consult in city (Chennai or Hyderabad or Vijaywada)  or in the town (Machilipatnam) which i am residing now. Does it require good experienced doctor?

1) if your baby canine is wiggling, some day or the other it will loosen while you eat and fall off. The permanent tooth inside it will not come out. It won't affect other teeth but chances of localised pockets and infection. 2) surgery involves just opening the gums around minimally, drill a bit of bone around with and expose it's surface, after which they will attach a wire to it and to the adjacent erupted tooth, and try to pull it slowly out of the socket with the help of that wire. Cost depends on each clinic. Overall including both procedure might range between. 5-10k 3) you need to consult an "oral and maxillofacial surgeon" for exposure... And an "orthodontist" for wire placement
