Baby is crying and not sleeping
My baby is 2 month old. She is crying in between while sleeping and hardly sleep for 5 to 7 hours per day. She is not taking feed at night properly and crying alot. I have consult the pediatrician locally and he have suggested to give "abbott promethazine syrup ip phenergan" 1 ml twice per day while baby is crying and not sleeping. In internet, it mentioned as not to be given to children less than 2 years. Can you please suggest it's safe to give the syrup to baby? Please suggest some syrup for crying and sleeping problems Thanks.

Phergan syrup is not given to very small children. In certain cases we do give. Do not use it unless advised by a pediatrician. For sleep and crying problem, first be calm. Play some music. Give pat on back. It is soothing. Walk with child on your shoulder. Try only after stomach is full. The chil go to sleep. Pray to Almighty. Sing some calming mantra. You have to train your self. Regularity in a schedule is required. No abusing or arguments or shouting in his presence. It affects them and baby shows behavior problems. No medicine for putting the child to sleep or crankiness.
