Back mouth pain dealing with gums
The back of my mouth at the lower part of my gums been hurting lately. The tooth is growing into my gums . What do I do

Hi, seems like your wisdom tooth is erupting. It’s not growing over your gums but is trying to erupt. A pocket like space is formed around this erupting tooth and the gums and if there is lack of hygiene there might be deposits into this pocket causing local inflammation and swelling may or may not be painful.

Try to keep the area as clean as possible using warm salt water rinses. You can take a pain killer in case there occurs any pain. If there is swelling which starts showing on your face kindly visit your nearest dentist and do not use any warm packs on your face.

Make sure the dentist checks your upper wisdom tooth too as sometimes it’s the tilted position of the upper wisdom tooth which causes trauma in the lower gum region and becomes a reason for all the discomfort.
