Mostly due to severe muscular spasm, you are unable to sit for longer time. It can be relieved by ayurvedic medicines and panchakarma therapies like basti, Pindswed and katibasti. Panchakarma will relieve spasm in a short time span, after which you can continue with yoga and lifestyle changes along with medicines.
Next Steps
Consult me or any reputed ayurvedic physician in your city for proper treatment.
Health Tips
Avoid forward bending. Avoid sleeping on soft mattress. It does not support your back bone while you are sleeping. Don't lift heavy weights or don't do exercises including forward bending. After pain reduced, you can do following yoga postures - sarpasan, bhujangasan, tadasan, Shavasan etc.

Health Tips
1) Correct your sitting posture. 2) Take small pillow or back rest for lower back. 3) Foot should rest to floor easily. 4) Take small break after 1 hr & walk few steps. 5) Do neck & upper back extension as easy as possible , dont go forcefully .
Your hunchback and back pain is likely to be as a result of poor posture. Poor posture can affect your physical and emotional well-being, and can disrupt your sleep. It can even lead to breathing problems, joint pain, difficulty walking and a hunched back, as well as increasing your risk of falls with age.
Make a known effort to correct your posture while standing, walking, sitting, etc. The following means will help with imrovement of your posture:
- Walk Tall: keep your head upright with your eyes looking straight ahead, your shoulders should be straight and squared, and your weight should be balanced evenly on both feet.
- Sleep on your back: your spinal cord gets proper support from the bed and your shoulders line up perfectly with the body.
- Take regular breaks from sitting: after sitting for an hour, stand up and stretch, walk around, do a little exercise or just stand in place for at least 5 minutes.
- Wear shoes with low heels: As a general rule of thumb, keep your heels no higher than 2 inches. Whenever possible, go without shoes. This helps build the muscles in your feet, which are essential for good posture.
- Practice yoga
- Do not hunch over while using your computer or mobile.
- Strengthen your core: Strong muscles across your lower abdomen, lower and upper back, and shoulders help to maintain correct posture without fatigue.
- Avoid crossing legs while sitting
- Take up swimming
- Buy a lumbar support pillow
If the pain is persistent or worsens or you have tingling sensation over your legs you should visit the nearest orthopedician for further evaluation and treatment.
