Blood transfusion to CKD patient
Hi,
Can we give blood transfusion to mother if:
Fistula was created 3 years back but Dialysis not required up till now.
Currently recovering from covid with himoglobin 7.2 and creatinine raised to 7 due to medication.

Hello,
You need to check serum Potassium,
Since fistula is there, its advisable to transfuse during 2 hours heparin free dialysis session.
