Hello, bowel movement is not going to hamper your healing process especially you have to check for the consistency of stool if it is getting hard use stool softener to soften your stools so that there won't be any pain while passing stools

Usually laxatives are given to soften your stool which may cause increased bowel movement

It usually won't hamper
But you should take note that the consistency of stool must not be hard or you should not strain to defecate.
Sitz bath ( must have been advised on discharge) are essential and keeping the area clean is important.
