Boils in head. Looks like fungal infecti
Boils at the back of head for my son aged 17 years. Looks like fungal infection . It gets reduced if doxy is taken. If it is stopped again boils crop up on face n head. Now applying danclear given by a dermatologist. How far it will work.. not known. Pls clarify why the boils in head and face keeps coming

Based on your description of pain on the scalp it looks like a superficial bacterial infection usually caused by staphylococcus aureus. Sometimes they co-exist with fungal folliculitis and can be determined with more precision during a consultation. Kindly consult a dermatologist for exact diagnosis and treatment plan. It is also important to prevent their relapse once you have got it cured. A decolonization regimen suggested by your doctor will help.
