At the age of 48 years your Systoic pressure is ought to be on a little higher side. But this is quite labile pressure and keeps fluctuating with exertion, sentiments etc but your Diastolic pressure which does not fluctuate easily, is 90, is quite normal. Keep a record of your readings at intervals of a few days and at various times of day like morning, evening, bedtime. If on an average you maintain diastolic pressure below 90 mm, without any problem, then you should not need any treatment. Keep exercising. Take a little less salt in your diet. Keep yourself in good humour. Have a nice sleep.
