Braces are temporary, usually orthodontic treatment  takes around 1 to 1.5 yrs, depending on individual case. Although there are different types of braces u can opt for like •Regular Braces,  •Lingual Braces- applied on inner side of teeth, hence esthetics  is safe. •Invisible braces- much more comfortable  n aesthetically pleasing.
