Breathing problem
My aunt is facing dis problem she is 65yrs old and at present its very difficult for her to even get up from bed she is on oxygen 24x7 at home last year she was admitted in hospital due to same reason she had hypercapnea at present her co2 level is 88 n o2 is 94 she is asthmatic patient n she has suffered from pneumonia too at present her condition is srsly not gud she is just sitting n breathing bt wn she starts to walk or do smthng she get breathless

I think Co2 rise is due to COPD condition , nothing to worry , u can start BIPAP treatment in home itself but ABG blood test should be done daily to find out co2 level
Next Steps
Start on bipap, 02 should be given minimal , if excess oxygen is given , then there wil be breathing problem
