Hello, The best option in your case would be to visit an Oncosurgeon. Did you suffer from a malignancy (cancer)?

Hello, This looks like a case of operated pathology.. where they have considered segmental resection of the mandible and then tried to maintain continuity with reconstruction plate. In cases where the masticatory forces exceed the plate strength, it’ll result in hardware failure; in this case, a broken plate. You can consider reconstruction of the mandible with graft and reconstruction plates.
Next Steps
Consult a oral and Maxillofacial surgeon.
Health Tips
Might not be causing any issue currently. But this can potentially become a source of infection later. Consider addressing it at the earliest.

Hi, Request you to visit your dental surgeon at the earliest and get the plates removed. You will need to get a reconstruction done if the area has healed completely.
