Bruxism is mostly stress related, though there may be other causes as well. You grind your teeth mostly during your sleep and may feel of tenderness around your jaw.

You do need a night guard for sure but only after visiting a dentist esp an orthodontist can it finally be ruled out if you need only night guard or other interventions are required.
