Bruxism can be related to stress or maligned teeth, so please consult an Orthodontist, who can help you know the cause of teeth grinding. A night guard appliance can help to protect your teeth and also break this habit. Feel free to get in touch.
Next Steps
Consult an Orthodontist
Health Tips
reduce stress , if any

Night grinding is usually correlated clenching involuntarily in sleep due to stress / psychological factors . This activity on longer duration results in excessive masticatory forces on teeth & gums hence the sorenesss & tautnes in muscles causes headache & pain in and around the jaw joint close to ear
Next Steps
1. Consult dentist for physiological intervention - night guard , bite plane , bite correction 2. Psychologically help yourself to overcome stress
Health Tips
Check your vitamin D & B12 levels

hi Bruxism is mostly stress related, though there may be other causes as well. You grind your teeth mostly during your sleep and may feel of tenderness around your jaw.
Next Steps
You do need a night guard for sure but only after visiting a dentist esp an orthodontist can it finally be ruled out if you need only night guard or other interventions are required.
Health Tips
Also, in today's times, stress is taking over our lives. So please try some stress relieving practices as well. Not only is stress a cause of your teeth griiding, it also causes other health problems.
