As you say it's 4 day old burn this is the time infection sets in. So do sterile dressing and don't late the burn wound open. Consult to your nearest plastic surgeon for optimum treatment as it will not only heals the burn wound but also take care that no hypertrophic scar or hypopigmented patch develop.

Acne can take about 3 to 6 months to subside. However you will start noticing improvement in the 1st 20 to 30 days. Use your creams regularly. Tablets like minoz are given initially to clear up infected acne and later you can maintain only on the creams. If you want quicker results you can additionally go for IPL rejuvenation or chemical peels. And till the underlying cause for the acne is not addressed u will keep having new acne. The causes are many, from stress to diet to hormonal imbalances. There is also a chance that it is not normal acne, but irritation of the skin due to threading which leaves small bumps like acne. In that case anti acne medicines irritate the skin more. Please visit your doctor again and discuss your problem with him/her. If the doctor has your previous photographs you could compare with it. But even regular acne show flares in the initial few weeks of treatment. So if your skin is not irritated, too dry or itchy, persist with the medicines for atleast a month and you will be happy with the results. If your skin has become very dry or if you have too much redness or irritation go back to your doctor and tell him/her about it. Warm regards. Dr. Rajdeep Mysore. Chirag Hospital Bangalore
