Can I take different iron injection?
My doctor prescribed Orofer FCM, but i read it has a lawsuit and can cause low phosphate. Can I take another iron injection like Isofer?

By the way, please share the source of the information that Orofer FCM is facing a lawsuit. Is it the lawsuit in India or in USA?

Iron injection or for that matter any other injection needs to be injected by a qualified medical practitioner at a place where all facilities are available to handle any untoward situation like reactions. Any medicine particularly injectable may lead to anaphylactic reactions in persons hypersensitive to it hence it is prudent to know your allergies and hyper sensitivities, it needed get tested prior to injection by a hypodermal test, and then get the full dose in a set up fully equipped to handle anaphylactic shock. This or that brand of Iron should not be a major issue unless FDA declares a batch to be faulty or substandard.
