I have been getting shortness of breath for a year or so, and it has slowly gotten worse. A few monthes ago I got gastritis meds to help with stomach pain, but that didn't help with my breathing. When I lay in my bed I feel as if I'm crushing my lungs, it's even worse when I hold a pillow or God forbid I put a pillow or blanked with a couple inches of my fase. sometimes I feel as if my saliva is drowning me(which is clear as normal), but this is not always the case. my bras crush my lungs, too.

Hi. I understand your concern s. You will need to undergo a detailed examination and investigation like chest x ray and pulmonary function test which is needed for the diagnosis as well as to assess severity of bronchitis based on which treatment. Consult a pulmonologist for the same at the earliest.
