Addiction is an illness and it requires proper treatment and attention. Quitting/de-addiction can often be a difficult process. I would advise seeking proper help if you really want to help yourself. Consult a psychiatrist, there are medications that help reduce the cravings when your trying to quit. These may be very helpful. Also, consult a psychotherapist or clinical psychologist who works with issues of addiction. Therapy can be very beneficial in helping you through this process. There are also support groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous that meet to provide support. It may be very helpful to meet other people who are addicts and trying to quit. You can search online and try to find more information specific to your city of residence.
