Cardiac Risk
My father's report says that his HS-CRP is above 9.95. Normal range is less than half 3. The Ayurvedic doctor has advised some medicine and a strict diet. I need an expert opinion to know whether he needs immediate cardiologist consult. The report has been attached.

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  HS-CRP stabds for highly specific- c reactive protein. It indicates a high risk for cardiac problems. You should rather than wasting time on other forms of treatment, get him checked out by a cardiologist in person for further evaluation and management.  Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
