Cataract surgery
Need to cataract surgery to my mom. She is 70Yrs old now. She doesn't have any other issues now. When contacted a eye hospital, they recommended to go for bifocal lens(long sigh correction is 0.5 only). Is it advisable to go for Bi-focal or use regular lens & go for eye glasses for short vision.

Do discuss thoroughly the pros and cons of the lens implant with the operating surgeon before making a decision for your mother . In addition to the views already expressed , it also depends on the operating surgeon’s comfort with the type of lens chosen. Maskatieyeclinic opposite Charni road station east, Mumbai
