If root canal is advised no other options other than doing it. You cannot avoid it. If you ignore and leave as such cavity infections get deep inside affect your jaw bone and cause severe life threatening infections. There is no home remedies for CAVITIES at all.

You cannot avoid root canal. Also you should complete the treatment followed by post and crown. If you delay treatment, you will loose your precious tooth. Replacing tooth is not a simple task and more expensive than root canal and crown.
Start treatment at the earliest.
U can't avoid RCT.If u mask ur problem by taking medicine then it may get disappeared temporarily but next experience will be very bad for u , so for u RCT is the permanent cure so don't get panic and and don't try to avoid it.
Hello sir, it's always advisable to go for root canal treatment it better you do it as soon as possible
if you postponed, the teeth will get even worse and you will end up removing the teeth.
Ignoring with pain killer is not a solution after a week your going to develop it again.
And there are chances to spread the infection or decay to the other normal teeth by contaminating your saliva.
Next Steps
Brush twice and save the other teeth from decay/infection.
