If there is no space for eruption of wisdom tooth, get it removed. Pain relief with medication lasts for only few days.

You need to visit a local dentist for treatment and physical evaluation. In case if there is less space for wisdom tooth to come or direction of eruption is not proper. Then it's advisable to get it extracted. May require an x ray as well.

Hi, Painkillers will provide some temporary. However if the tooth does not have enough space to fully erupt it will get impacted (sort of stuck halfway). If that happens the only long term solution is to extract the tooth. In the meanwhile rinsing with warm salt water will also reduce the inflammation.
Next Steps
On occasion a procedure to remove the overlying gum tissue called operculectomy can be performed in some cases which can give relief.

Please visit a dentist for a clearer picture.
