  4. Child twiddles fingers. Any disorders?

Child twiddles fingers
My child twiddles his fingers or small objects he can find whilst ‘imagining’. He can control this behaviour as he won’t do it in public or around me after I brought it up. He is verbal, socially fine and doesn’t show any symptoms of any disorders?

How old is your son? Also, if his twiddling is not affecting him or others , why stop him? Children need a time out, imagination has many many functional uses. Please don't stop him. It is vital for normal development.
