Cirhhosis last stage

Asked for Male, 48 Years

Patient is suffering from cirhhosis due to consumption of heavy alcohol.Doctor said it's the last stage.blood is coming out from mouth.stomach is filling up with fluid.Is there any possible treatment left?

Hello there.... I can understand your concern.... Treatment for cirrhosis cannot reverse liver damage, but it can stop or slow progression of the disease causing it and reduce complications. Treatment depends on what is causing the cirrhosis and which particular complications.... . Liver transplantation remains the best treatment,...
