At the moment of swallowing or when someone moves their head, a clicking in the throat is the sensation referred to as a clicking larynx. It is often thought that there is a correlation with local tenderness, pain in the neck, or circumlaryngeal manipulation.
Next Steps
For the diagnosis of clicking larynx syndrome (CLS), laryngeal computed tomography in a neutral position is the examination of choice.
