Dear Patient, Thank you for reaching out. From your description, it seems like your symptoms could be related to allergic rhinitis or a persistent upper respiratory condition. Montelukast is generally safe; however, as a breastfeeding mother, any medication you take should be carefully considered for your child's safety. Here are some initial measures you can take: Steam inhalation 2-3 times a day to help clear nasal congestion. Saline nasal drops to relieve nasal blockage naturally. Avoid exposure to dust, cold food, and allergens as they can worsen your symptoms. Stay well-hydrated and get adequate rest. However, to provide you with a tailored treatment plan that ensures the safety of both you and your baby, I strongly recommend a detailed consultation. This will allow us to review your medical history, current symptoms, and breastfeeding considerations thoroughly. Feel free to reach out to me for a private consultation. You can contact me at eight zero zero nine eight two one three three two for any further guidance and to schedule your consultation. Looking forward to helping you feel better soon! Warm regards,
