Cold cough
Hi Doc My baby just turned 3 months on 27 September, i am having cough nd mild cough since yesterday but after taking prescribed medicines my symptoms are subsiding now. Since today morning my baby is having stuffed nose and throat. Also she is having mild cough. She is a breastfeeding baby. Please suggest me what should i do as i am not comfortable taking her out to the doctor.

Instill nasal saline drops to relieve nasal block....for mild cough nothing to do....

Nothing to worry. It is a viral infection from you to baby. Put nasal drops each nostril for nose block.
Next Steps
Wear a mask and then go near the baby. Breast milk won’t carry infection from you to baby.So, no worries. Wash hands and then handle baby.
Health Tips
Occasional cough, no medications required but continuous cough that disturbs her consult doctor.
