CTE is a diagnosis which is commonly seen on football players from due to repeated head injuries. It does not occur due to minor head trauma but severe repeated injuries. Symptoms of CTE usually take a few years to develop. However, head injuries in general can result in personality changes and other psychiatric problems. Since you haven't described the nature of injuries or the symptoms you noticed I can not comment further.
Next Steps
The best course of action would be for you to visit a psychiatrist with a close relative for a detailed evaluation. If required, the doctor will recommend either brain scans (ct/mri) or other neurological tests for you. Don't worry. The likely hood of it being CTE is low.
