Confused if i am having Thyroid at 19??
Help!!! I have tested myself after feeling drowsiness and fever and leg pain a year ago and result was 8.5 I continued taking 25mcg for a week and later discontinued Now again it started after year.. I took 25mcg for 15 days now my results is 4.3 What should i do...I'm trapped in RED ZONE WITH CLOSED HOSPITALS

Hi My recommendations is not to take any medication at this point of time Check the TSH after 1 month In case it is above 5 with symptoms of weight gain lethargy then we can start with the dosage of medication Otherwise we can wait for initiation of treatment
Next Steps
Check TSH after a month and compare and decide More then 10 start with treatment 5 to 10 with symptoms start treatment No symptoms no treatment Less then 5 no treatment

Continue..thyroid medicines are not a cure for hypothyroidism but a replacement of the thyroid hormone which ur thyroid is not producing. With the replacement try to keep tsh in range
