Conjunctivitis
I am 39 years old and into my 5th day of conjunctivitis. Taking eye drop ciplox 4 to 5 times a day for last 5 days and levoday 500 once a day for last 3 days. No progress, please help.

Hello Conjunctivitis is mainly viral It takes 10-14 days for recovery depending on strain of virus So don't worry Keep using medicines

If you feel there is no progress or maybe even worsening after a week, then go for a review or take another opinion. If the conjunctivitis is viral, then corneal involvement has to be looked for and accordingly mild steroid eye drops may have to be prescribed. Be patient and use eye drops as prescribed.

Hello there.... I can understand your concern.... Conjunctivitis is an infectious eye condition....Symptoms last from two days to three weeks.... washes your hands frequently...tries not to touch or rub your eyes....don't use towels that are shared with other people..... Continue with medications.... Consult Ophthalmologist if symptoms persists.....
