I've had this ongoing issue where when I eat any food or drink, regardless of temperature or size, or how soft or hard the food is, it always hurts. It feels like I'm practically being punched in the chest, and it's just when I swallow. The pain is right in my chest, near my heart. I cannot afford insurance and I cannot afford to visit the doctor as I would not be able to buy myself food on my income. I need to know how serious it is, otherwise I will allow this pain to continue.

Where are you posting this question from anyways?
Nothing is charged to patients in govt hospitals.
Without examining and Checking you out, how can we know what it is.
Consult a general surgeon in person for further evaluation and management.
