Your symptom is suggestive of brachial neuralgia due to pressure on the nerve roots in the neck. It is due to degenerative changes in the spine at neck level. Bad posture while sitting and using big/hard pillows are predisposing causes. Neck x-ray helps in diagnosis.
Next Steps
Physician/Orthopaedician opinion. Taking neuralgia pain relievers helps.
