Similar presentation as you have described in seen in either a corn or wart. It is easy to differentiate between them by physical examination and can be done by a Dermatologist. A wart has a capacity to spread and is infectious, so the diagnosis is important. Both the conditions are easy to treat but can recur sometime. Prevention for future is important after the current lesion is treated. Discuss the same with your skin specialist.
