My uncle tested covid positive he is 62yrs old.he is having only body pains not much light body pains.no other symptoms. they said home qurantine is enought.they didn't given any medicine.any medicine required. he is always telling he is having body pains anyy medicine pls suggest

Since he is elderly person you have to be little cautious... Keep monitoring his temperature and oxygen level 6th hourly once.. he can take dolo 650 for fever and pain.. plenty of fluids.. healthy diet,if oxygen level less than 93% u have to inform health department..

Patient is old age so u shoud be exta cautious
Check spo2 atleast 3 times a day
Take sips of luke warm water hourly
Steam inhalation twice a day
Multivitamins and mild anti inflammatory drugs can be given
Symptomatic care is to be given
Any underlying metabolic diseases should be managed thoroughly
Please keep an watch on his oxygen saturation with the help of pulse oximeter, every 6 hourly minimum.
If saturation falls below <93% on room air, then he need to see a nearest physician.
Be careful as the elderly patient are more likely to deteriorate, so please keep a watch.
