Could I have a stye AND pink eye??
I've had a very swollen stye for about 2 and half days, which now has a yellow head on it. But today, my actual eye has been very itchy, burning, and is now completely red. Is this side effects of a stye or do I have pink eye, also? Thanks!

You may have pink eye due to secondary infection from stye . Styes are infection of Moll & zeis gland present in every body eye lids ,basically infected by staphylococci.styes are very painful swelling near the root of eye lashes, you need oral antibiotics&anti inflammatory tablet as well as antibiotic ointment to apply locally.Hot fomentation helps to some extent in styes.
