Covid fever
Hi.. My brother's age is 42.He has been suffering from fever since a week. His covid test is negative but his ct scan showed some infection. He is having tablets prescribed by local doctor. But his fever is not controlling. It's 102 to 103 even after having tablets. Yesterday he injected 2 I've fluids. His oxygen levels are ranging between 96 to 98.why his fever is not getting controlled?? Is anything serious? Does he need to get hospitalized?? Getting tensed.. So plz advise..

If fever is high then infection is still active. Is he having diabetes or any other risk factors?
Next Steps
please get some blood investigations to check if infection is severe or not. please get serum ferritin, D dimer, LDH, CRP, CBC Tests done.

watch for breathing rate per minute. if it is more than 20 then please report to near by hospital.
