Crowns and retainers
I am getting 4 unit crown on upper front incisors. I have to wear retainers with them. The retainers will be made with the measurement of the crowns so they can fit properly. However, I am afraid that the daily placing and removing of retainers (essix retainers) will loosen the crown and reduce its life. So what can be a solution to this problem?

The retainers basically do not make the cemented crown loose if they are of good material and luted with accurate cement..The indication of retainers is not clear though..Life of zirconia/ all ceramic crowns or bridge will not be affected if they are made with accurate measurement and finish lines and resin bonding material is used..

Hello mam, crowns are fixed using strong cements and you don't have to worry about the crown getting loose and reduce its life. I would advise you to go for an all ceramic crown.

It seems it is removable partial denture. Yes it will damage the neabouring tooth while packing & removing. Go for ceramic bridge it does not have retainer & it is fixed, you don't have to remove it.
