CT:BRAIN [NCCT ] Report Reading
I have a report of CT:BRAIN (NCCT). I can't read the report . The highlighted lines are listed below. Other things are normal in report. What it actually says & What does it mean ? [ 5mm parallel sections were taken from base to apex without contrast. ] Hypodensity is seen in parafalcine right occipital region and right thalamus suggestive of acute infract. Bilateral basal gangila calification is seen. Prominences of cerebral cortical sulci are suggestive of mild cerebral atrophy. Thanks !
